Quality landscape photography is impossible without the use of a split grad filter.
Have you ever wondered why your skies keep getting washed out in your landscape photos? It's because the sky
is so much brighter than the land that the sensor cannot record the entire exposure range. A split
graduated neutral density filter is used to balance the exposures.
The split grad filter is the most important filter in landscape photography,
even more important than the polarizer. That's because, when the light is at its best you cannot
make landscape images without a split graduated neutral density filter.
In this Split Grad Filter Secrets hands-on workshop, Mike teaches you his secrets for using a split
grad filter while minimizing the evidence of the filter's use. It's astonishing how many
pictures by "top" nature photographers noticeably demonstrate sloppy split grad work.
With this class, you will receive comprehensive lecture notes so you have a reference guide after you've taken the class.

COURSE AGENDA
The class begins at Mike's home and studio in Downers Grove, Illinois
(a Chicago suburb) where Mike will disclose his split grad filter secrets in an animated
PowerPoint presentation. You will receive a comprensive handout of the presentation.
After the lecture, we will then head out to a park in the late afternoon to practice using
split grad filters.
The class will be limited to a small number of participants so you can get the attention you require.
