Course Requirements

Please see the course requirements for each of the classes in the package so that there are no surprises.

BASIC COURSE PREREQUISITES

We only require that you have an excitement for photography and a desire to learn. However, it is also very important that your camera is right for learning photography.

You must take Get to Know Your Camera as your first class. Other than that, sign up for the classes to best fit your schedule.

CAMERA REQUIREMENTS

It's essential to have a film or digital camera that can do the job—one that will allow YOU to be in control of your photography. Unfortunately, point and shoots or cameras with built-in lenses are not adequate for learning. Your camera must also have a Manual Exposure mode (usually denoted by the letter "M"). This mode gives you complete control over the exposure.

Because this is a hands-on course, you need to BRING YOUR CAMERA and USER MANUAL with you. Don't forget the user manual!!

WHAT TO WEAR, ETC.

Just dress comfortably since you'll be indoors.
